That’s why Eric Goerdt cares so much about every ingredient that goes into his smoked fish sammies (plus a dizzying menu of other meats). He truly believes a sandwich can change someone’s life. After trying one, I’d have to agree.

Jonathan Thunder believes artists glean inspiration from what’s important to them. For him, that means skateboard art, comic books, Mad Magazine and his Ojibwe-Anishinaabe heritage.

As the founder of Women Hike Duluth, Sandi Larson organizes group hikes and helps women feel comfortable in the outdoors. In her day job, she helps women entrepreneurs realize their dreams. In her spare time, she hikes every day in every season no matter the weather.
